Construction of a pilot plant for a major Japanese chemical company

MTSA Technopower 5.0 has built a pilot plant (CATAQUA™) for Nippon Shokubai, a major Japanese chemical company, which is also ideally suited for use as a demonstration plant.

The system utilizes a Catalytic Wet Air Oxidation (CWAO) process for the purification of industrial wastewater, providing a solution for even the most complex industrial waste streams.

In addition to conducting trials, the plant serves as a demonstration facility, allowing purification tests to be performed for potential clients within an actual industrial setting and under real-world operating conditions.

The CATAQUA™  pilot plant arrives at the customer’s site.

The CATAQUA™ pilot plant is housed in two containers. This demonstration unit is suitable for use throughout Western Europe and for all the climatic conditions encountered there.

For MTSA Technopower 5.0, this highly interesting project encompassed the following:

  • Turnkey realization of the project, including basic engineering, detailed engineering, software, manufacturing, and assembly.
  • Testing at the MTSA facility.
  • Transportation to the client’s site.
  • Provision of the complete documentation package.
  • Support during the start-up and commissioning phase.
